When you post a comment on any site/blog always add your website URL. Second, add keywords to your name.

Step 1 – enter your name something like: JSmith – Statistical Analysis Consultant>

Step 2 – enter your website address as: http://www.statisticalanalysisconsulting.com

Comment Profiles With Keywords as Anchor Text

Performing these two steps is very important. Many comment sections will give a link back to your site. The name you supply is used as the anchor text (remember my article on anchor text in backlinks).

So, adding your title or role (where it seems appropriate or acceptable) will really help your organic search rankings. Don’t be shy, be relevant or helpful and its all good!
